Junior Information

Club Officiating Clinics

  • All teams must have participated in a clinic and completed all clinic requirements prior to participating in any sanctioned event.

  • A minimum of 3 scorekeepers and 3 officials must attend a 2 part clinic. The first portion will be for Officials, lasting 1 hour in length. The Scorekeepers portion of the clinic will last 1 hour in length, directly following the officials portion. All coaches, both assistant and head, must attend the clinic in its entirety. The 3 players attending the officials clinic can be the same or different from those attending the scorekeepers clinic. Only those in attendance will be listed on the team roster as the “team referee and/or team scorekeeper” on the team roster.

  • The region offers two paths for satisfying the clinic requirements, Region Sponsored Clinics and Club Sponsored Clinics

        Region Sponsored Clinics

Below are dates and locations for the Region sponsored clinics.  We are working on a couple of other dates/locations, but have nothing definite yet.  There will be a $2.00 per person cost to attend the Referee/Scorekeeper clinic, and the IMPACT clinic will be $35.00 per person.  Email the region to commit to a number of spots at any particular clinic. Each of these locations should be able to handle between 200-300 attendees.  If we do not get the numbers to make it viable, we will cancel the event.

Cash or check is the only form of payment allowed.  If your payment in the form of a check is declined, your club will not be allowed to participate in any sanctioned event until the fees are made good, though with a limit of 30 people per clinic. Possible Settings: Classroom, conference room, gymnasium, or the Regional Office (no cost for space).  Contact Robyn Filimaua at 425-343-9987 or rpeckol@mindspring.com to arrange such a clinic.
